In Fiji:
A 24-year-old man and a 16-year-old teenager were produced at the Tavua Magistrates Court charged with the alleged murder of a 33-year-old taxi driver.
The accused have been remanded.
The 24-year-old has been remanded at the Natabua Corrections Centre while the 16-year-old is at the Juvenile Centre in Suva.
The two are alleged to have on the 1st of this month, at Matalevu, Tavua, aided and abetted in the assault of the victim, causing his death.
The 33-year-old taxi driver’s vehicle was found abandoned in Dokanaisuva.
The case has been adjourned to the 24th of this month and will be called at the Lautoka High Court.
