In light of major water supply disruptions affecting the Suva area, the Ministry of Health & Medical Services wishes to inform members of the public that the Ministry is working closely with the Water Authority of Fiji to ensure that all affected health facilities will remain open.
The Ministry of Health & Medical Services will issue public advisories should any changes to the operations of its health facilities be necessary.
Members of the public in affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions, such as storing water safely in clean containers and protecting it from contamination.
Furthermore, the public is urged to boil and store drinking water safely.
Members of the public who are sick and need medical attention should continue to seek health care at their nearest health facility.
