The People’s Alliance has received a complaint in relation to the alleged conduct of a senior member of the party.
In a statement authorized by general secretary Usaia Waqatairewa, the party says the complaint has been referred to the Legal and National Disciplinary Sub-Committee as provided for under Section 27.5 of the People’s Alliance Party Constitution.
In the statement, the party says it fully supports Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka’s decision to dismiss Aseri Radrodro as Education Minister and affirmed their full support behind Mr Rabuka as PM and Head of the Coalition Government.
The party did not disclose the nature of the complaint and the complainant but did confirm the complaint was made directly to the People’s Alliance.
