The HSBC Perth 7s kicks off today, hosting the third round of the 2024/2025 HSBC SVNS World Series at HBF Park.
The world’s top 12 men’s and women’s rugby sevens teams will compete, with the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s and the New Zealand women currently leading the standings after the first two rounds in Dubai and Cape Town.
This tournament promises intense competition, featuring Olympians and emerging talent. Notably, the women’s cup final will be the grand finale for the first time.
Key matchups include Fiji’s Men’s team facing Uruguay at 3:22pm today, followed by Kenya at 7:59pm then the side will face New Zealand tomorrow in their final pool match at 4:22pm.
In the women’s competition, the Fijiana 7s will play the USA at 4:06pm today, Canada at 8:21pm and Great Britain tomorrow at 6:19pm.
The Men’s and Women’s cup quarterfinals will take place Saturday and Sunday, with the finals scheduled for Sunday and Monday respectively.
