Fiji Rugby Union today announced that Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s head coach Saiasi Fuli’s contract will conclude in December of this year.

After discussions with Fuli, the board of trustees have decided to advertise the position to find the best candidate to lead the women’s team into the next phase.

FRU’s Interim Chairman, Peter Mazey says “The new coach will tasked to initiate and implement a High Performance Strategy moving forward and select the Team for the upcoming HSBC 7s series program.”

Mazey extended their heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the Paris 2024 Rugby 7s competition.

“The dedication of the coaches, players, and staff was instrumental in making the event a resounding success and we look forward to the exciting journey ahead and to continuing our pursuit of excellence on the global stage,” Mazey added.
