The official launch of the Namosi Music Festival “Reggae by the River 2026” has been announced, with the event set to take place on the 25 of July 2026 at the Namosi Eco Retreat in the Namosi Province.

The festival is expected to bring together music, culture, and nature in a riverside setting deep in Fiji’s highlands.
Organisers say the festival is more than just music, but a cultural experience that reflects Fijian identity and community connection.
The one-day festival will feature a mix of reggae, roots, island music, and cultural performances.
The lineup includes DJ Skitz, Laisa Vulakoro, the VOU Dance Group, Rhythms Fiji, Bits n Pieces, Sojourner’s, Sweet Sensation, the Mareau Brothers, and the Namosi Eco Retreat house band, along with traditional meke performances by local men and women.
Festival experiences will include river swimming in the morning, live performances during the day, and evening entertainment under the stars with bonfires and stage lighting.
Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmax, priced from $149 for adults and $45 for children aged 2 to 14.
Both day-tripper and overnight camping options are available, and all tickets include return bus transport from Suva, meals, and festival entry.
The event is supported by partners including Tourism Fiji, Namosi Eco Retreat, and other local sponsors, with organisers promising more artist announcements in the lead-up to the festival.
