A 39-year-old man has become Fiji’s latest road fatality victim following a motor vehicle accident in Sigatoka on Friday.
The victim was allegedly driving towards Olosara when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to cross into the opposite lane and collide with an oncoming vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to Sigatoka Hospital for treatment, however the 39-year-old died several hours later.
The driver of the second vehicle remains admitted at the hospital as investigations into the accident continue.
