Students at Suva Adventist Primary School in Lami now have access to a new multi-purpose hall following the official opening of the $363,000 facility.
The hall is expected to serve the school’s 754 students by providing a central venue for a range of activities, including assemblies, examinations, sporting events, cultural programmes, leadership initiatives and community gatherings.
The project was delivered through years of fundraising by students, teachers, parents, church members, alumni and supporters, highlighting the strong community backing behind the development.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, Education Minister Aseri Radrodro commended everyone who contributed to the project and acknowledged the collective effort that made the facility a reality.
He encouraged students to make full use of the new space and emphasised the importance of maintaining learning environments that support student growth, wellbeing and achievement.
The new hall represents a significant investment in education and demonstrates the positive outcomes that can be achieved when schools, families, faith-based organisations and communities work together to support future generations.
