Investigation files relating to the death of Police Constable Peniasi Racagi have been submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) for review.
The Fiji Police Force confirmed that all supporting evidence gathered during the investigation has been forwarded to the ODPP.
Files concerning the alleged involvement of police officers in the matter have also been included for independent assessment.
Police have been advised that the review process is expected to take between three and four weeks.
Authorities say further updates on the case will be provided once legal advice and recommendations are received from the ODPP.
