Athletics Fiji has announced an 11-member athletics delegation selected to represent the nation at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
The athletes and officials will now continue their build-up towards the prestigious international event, with preparations intensifying in the lead-up to the Games.
Athletics Fiji also acknowledged the 29 athletes and officials from other national sporting federations who have earned selection in Team Fiji, extending its congratulations and best wishes as they prepare to compete on the global stage.
The federation is calling on supporters, former athletes, friends, and the wider Fijian community to rally behind the team, highlighting the important role public encouragement can play in boosting athlete morale during their preparations.
Athletics Fiji has also invited sponsors and corporate partners to support the campaign to Glasgow 2026, noting that investment in the country’s athletes contributes to the growth and future success of Fijian sport.
As the countdown to the Commonwealth Games continues, Fiji’s athletics representatives will be aiming to showcase their talent and proudly fly the national flag in Glasgow.
