The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have confirmed the signing of Fiji Airways Fijian 7s representative Nacani Boginisoko to their squad for the 2027 Super Rugby Pacific season.
Boginisoko, an exciting outside back, recently broke into the national 7s side and has already featured in two HSBC SVNS Series tournaments, making an impact with his speed, power, and attacking ability.
The 26-year-old rose through local rugby ranks with Dominion Brothers before earning national selection earlier this year, debuting in Singapore.
Drua management say his signing highlights the strong local pathway for Fiji’s emerging rugby talent, with the club backing his transition into the 15s format.
Fijian Drua General Manager, Rugby Baden Stephenson: “Nacani is an exciting talent who has earned this opportunity through his performances and work ethic. He has shown tremendous growth over the past few seasons, progressing from local competitions to representing Fiji on the international sevens stage. He possesses attributes that we believe can translate well to the Super Rugby Pacific environment, and we’re excited to support his development as he transitions into the competition.”
