Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first player to score in six different World Cup tournaments.
This morning, Ronaldo scored the goal in the sixth minute of Portugal’s match against Uzbekistan.
The 41-year-old made history when João Cancelo crossed it to him, and he shot with his right foot to make it 1-0. He ran toward the bench and celebrated with his teammates after the score.
He later grabs his second before halftime.
Portugal went on to win 5-0 against Uzbekistan.

Ronaldo and Argentina captain Lionel Messi became the only men in history to play in six World Cup tournaments this year.
Ronaldo’s scoring streak started in his debut in 2006, and he also netted goals in 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is an expanded 48-team tournament featuring 104 matches taking place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The 48 teams are divided into 12 groups of four, with each team playing its group stage opponents for a total of three first-round games per side.
