Sustainable farming innovations and climate-smart agricultural practices were showcased during the International Landcare and Sustainable Agriculture Conference, with the Ministry of Agriculture and local farmers hosting interactive displays at Fiji National University.
The exhibition provided conference participants with an opportunity to explore a range of agricultural products, innovative farming techniques and practical solutions that demonstrate Fiji’s commitment to sustainable land management and environmental stewardship.
Among the highlights were climate-smart farming methods and organic agriculture initiatives, reflecting the resilience and innovation of local farmers while promoting practices that protect Fiji’s natural resources.
The Ministry said the exhibition also created opportunities for learning, collaboration and the exchange of ideas, bringing together farmers, stakeholders and industry representatives to support the future of sustainable agriculture in Fiji.
