Lelean Memorial School are the new Vodafone FSSRU Super Deans Under-19 champions after edging Navatu Secondary School 15-14 in a gripping final that went right down to the wire.

In a hard-fought encounter, both teams traded blows throughout the match, keeping fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. Lelean showed composure under pressure in the closing stages to hold off a determined Navatu side and secure the prestigious title.

Captain Josua Balewai dedicated the victory to everyone who supported the team throughout their campaign, acknowledging the sacrifices and encouragement that helped them reach the top.

Balewai praised Navatu Secondary School for their spirited performance, saying they made Lelean work hard for every point.

He noted that while there can only be one winner at the end of the day, he was grateful it was Lelean who emerged victorious after such a tough contest.
