Patience in attack, trusting their game plan and maintaining consistency will be key areas for Lautoka Rugby as they look to turn their 2026 Skipper Cup campaign around.

After four rounds, Lautoka have managed just one win from four matches, with Head Coach Kiniviliame Bavadra admitting consistency at training remains one of their biggest challenges.

However, their victory over Rewa last weekend has given the side renewed confidence as they prepare to face Kadavu this weekend.

“The biggest challenge is trying to put together through consistency in training especially in keeping up with the culture and standard of the game and so far, the boys have displayed that we were able to take the positives from our three losses and use it against Rewa.”

Bavadra says the team must also take a closer look at its culture and togetherness if they are to improve their results and finish the season strongly.
