A total of 8,562 students across Fiji are preparing to sit the 2026 Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination (FY13CE), which begins tomorrow, October 27, with the English paper.

The examinations will run until November 6 across 174 examination centres nationwide.

Minister for Education Aseri Masivou Radrodro has encouraged students to approach the examinations with confidence, remain focused and trust in the preparation they have put in throughout the year.

He reminded students that while examinations are an important part of their education, their results do not define their worth or determine their entire future.

Radrodro also urged students to manage their time effectively and remain persistent when faced with challenging questions.

He highlighted the range of opportunities available after Year 13, including university studies, technical and vocational training, employment and entrepreneurship.

The Minister acknowledged the contribution of teachers, school leaders, parents and guardians in supporting students as they prepare for this important stage of their education.

He wished all candidates success, encouraging them to do their best and make the most of the opportunities ahead.
