Ketan Lal has called on Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka to prioritise addressing urgent issues such as the rising cost of living, deteriorating infrastructure and high unemployment, instead of focusing on constitutional amendments.
In a statement, Lal stressed the need for the government to tackle the challenges faced by Fijians, including crumbling roads, dilapidated hospitals and a growing law-and-order crisis.
He expressed concerns that the government’s focus on political matters has diverted attention from the everyday struggles of citizens, urging a shift toward more effective leadership and practical solutions.
