KPMG Fiji has strengthened its leadership ranks with the appointment of two new partners, effective 1 April 2026.
Mehul Tailor and Nalin Kumar bring extensive experience in Audit and Assurance, as well as Business and Tax Advisory services. Both are currently based in the firm’s Suva office and are expected to relocate to Nadi in early 2027.
Managing Partner Sharvek Naidu said the appointments reflect the firm’s commitment to building a strong and diverse leadership team capable of driving innovation and supporting sustainable growth across the South Pacific.
He noted that the partnership has now expanded from six to eight members, positioning the firm to meet growing demand for professional services in Fiji and the wider region.
Tailor’s journey with the firm began 18 years ago through its Vocational Employment programme before formally joining as a graduate accountant in 2011.
Now leading the Financial Services sector, he has worked across industries including banking, energy, telecommunications, retail, and manufacturing.
He has also played a central role in strengthening internal audit capabilities and delivering technical training across Fiji and the Pacific.
Kumar, with more than 20 years of experience in public practice, has worked with clients ranging from small businesses to multinational corporations and statutory organisations.
His international exposure includes a three-year secondment to KPMG’s Darwin office. He also brings experience in Business and Tax Advisory, offering technical accounting guidance and compliance services across a broad client base.
Naidu added that the appointments will enhance the firm’s ability to serve clients while also contributing positively to the wider community.
