The Women’s Leadership and Climate Resilience Training programme was launched today at the Fiji Learning Institute for Public Service (FLIPS) in Nasese, Suva.
The week-long initiative has drawn women representatives from Fiji National University alongside participants from several government ministries.
The training is being implemented through the Asian Development Bank’s ASPIRE programme, which focuses on strengthening women’s capacity to respond to climate change and disaster risks.
It is facilitated by the Urban Resilience Trust Fund team in collaboration with Fiji National University and other key partners.
Throughout the week, attendees will engage in sessions designed to build leadership skills while examining practical strategies for enhancing climate resilience.
The programme highlights a collective effort to promote inclusive leadership and support sustainable development in Fiji.
