Kakala house were crowned the champions for the Adi Cakobau School Interhouse yesterday, with 19 gold medals, 15 silver and 17 bronze.

Lagakali House sprinter Domitila Naita, won the senior girls blue ribbon with a time of 12.74seconds.

Adi Cakobau School will be bringing in new faces in to this year’s Triple N Zone meet.

Media officer Ravuama Latilevu says spirits are high as they are looking forward to getting in their squad selected.

Latilevu says their main goal is to defend their zone title and get as much athletes as possible to qualify for the Coca Cola Games.

Former Pacific sprint queen Makelesi Bulikiobo Batimala will continue to coach them for this years competition.

Kakala were crowned the champion with 51 medals, coming in second place was Lagakali with 29 medals.

Mokosoi settled for the 3rd place with 37 medals followed by Uci with 36 medals.
