The FIFA World Cup 2026 Oceania Qualifiers have entered a critical phase, with four teams remaining in contention for a spot in football’s biggest tournament.
Fiji will face New Zealand in the second semi-final, while New Caledonia will take on Tahiti in the first semi-final.
The matches are scheduled for March 2025, and the final prize is a ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
New Caledonia emerged as group winners with 7 points while the Bula Boys secured the runner-up position with 5 points in Group A.
New Zealand dominated with a perfect record of 9 points and Tahiti claimed the second spot with 6 points.
The winner of the final will earn direct qualification for the expanded 48-team FIFA World Cup in North America.
The runner-up will advance to the intercontinental playoffs, where they will compete for one of the final spots in the tournament.
Both semi-finals will be played at the Sky Stadium on 21 March in 2025.
