Fiji Airways Fijiana Interim Head Coach Timoci Volavola has named a strong squad for the Perth 7s.

Olympian Sesenieli Donu is making a return from injury, along with veterans Verenaisi Bari and Mereula Torooti, whilst Adita Milinia, a winger for the Fijiana XV, makes her debut in the HSBC 7s Series.

The coach said “It’s an exciting moment for us as we welcome back Sesenieli Donu, Verenaisi Bari, and Mereula. Their leadership and experience will be invaluable as we aim to build on our recent performances.”

He added that “Adita’s inclusion reflects the depth of talent we have in Fiji, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she adapts to the intensity of 7s rugby at this level.”

Volavola is excited about their potential and the team’s depth, as they prepare to face USA, Canada, and Great Britain in their pool matches.

The Perth 7s will be held from Friday, 24 January to Sunday 26 January.
