The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have secured the futures of two of their powerhouse forwards, Vilive Miramira and Mesake Vocevoce, with both players extending their contracts until 2027.
Miramira, a foundation member of the Drua since their debut Super Rugby Pacific season in 2022, has tallied 36 appearances and three tries for the side.
His versatility in the forward pack earned him a place at the 2023 Rugby World Cup with the Flying Fijians.
“I’m grateful and blessed to sign again with the Drua. It means a lot to me and my family,” said the Naivaka, Bua native.
Vocevoce, meanwhile, has quickly established himself as a fan favourite.
The 2024 Pepsi Rookie of the Year has made 24 appearances for the Drua and recently scored his first try in their win over the Queensland Reds.
The Narewa, Nadi product also boasts eight Flying Fijians caps since his 2024 debut against Tonga.
Fijian Drua General Manager of Rugby, Baden Stephenson, praised the duo’s recommitment, noting their physicality and athleticism perfectly suit the demands of modern Super Rugby.
