The University of the South Pacific (USP) says it is continuing to monitor weather conditions across Fiji while following guidance from official advisories issued by the Fiji Meteorological Service and the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).
USP has confirmed that its campuses in Fiji remain open at this stage. However, the University emphasised that the safety and well-being of students and staff remain its top priority.
Students and staff impacted by adverse weather, flooding, transport challenges or other related issues are being encouraged to put their safety first and stay home if necessary.
Those affected are advised to communicate with their Course Coordinators or Supervisors to discuss alternative arrangements for examinations or work commitments.
The University is also urging its community to remain informed through updates from the Fiji Meteorological Service and the NDMO, while continuing to follow announcements issued through official USP communication channels.
