A bench warrant has been issued for Isaia Ledua, who is accused of breaking into the Republic of Fiji Military Forces armoury at Queen Elizabeth Barracks in April.
Ledua, who was on bail, failed to appear in court this morning before High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere.
He faces one count each of aggravated burglary and damaging property.
Justice Tuiqereqere also directed that Ledua’s two sureties be summoned to court to explain his failure to appear.
Ledua’s lawyer, Jerry Dinati was also absent from court.
It is alleged that between April 8 and 9, Ledua attempted to break into the RFMF Ammunition Magazine building in Nabua and damaged the door lock keypad.
The matter has been adjourned to the 15th of September.
