The Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Headquarter Joint Task Force Commander conducted its Command Parade which was reviewd by Commander Joint Task Force Command, Brigadier General Manoa D.
Gadai at Blackrock Camp in Votualevu, Nadi yesterday after a culmination of an extensive Operational Readiness Check.

Brigadier Gadai’s address to the parade, commenced with the appreciation towards CRFMF for charting a new vision for the RFMF.
“Realising the fruition of the CRFMF’s vision, he demands our unity of efforts, unity of purpose, and unity of command. I urge you all to join me in rallying behind CRFMF’s noble vision with unwavering support, courage, honesty and dedication.”
The Commander JTFC also reminded the men and women of JTFC of the mutiny during the year 2000, and also emphasized on the path paved CRFMF, Major General Ro Jone Kalouniwai.

“The events of year 2000 serve as a stark reminder of the devastation wrought by internal strife. Let us not revisit those dark days. We, the RFMF, know what is best for us and our beloved nation, just as we know the weight of our oath of allegiance, a pledge to remain steadfast in our duty to the RFMF and our beloved nation.”
“This calls for trustworthiness, a commitment to serving the genuine interest of both the RFMF and our nation above personal gain, and the establishment of secure and stable communities that prioritize the well-being of all, regardless of our status, race, gender, color or creed.”
“Let it be known that the RFMF doesn’t condone dishonesty, selfishness, corruption or indiscipline. Succumbing to such tendencies sets a dangerous condition- one that we cannot afford. I implore each of you, particularly those entrenched in old mindsets, to embrace the new strategic direction outlined by CRFMF.
He also commended all the RFMF and Fiji Police Force officers on parade for their sacrifices and those who are preparing for their deployment to the Solomon Islands as part of Task Force Corimada 3 for Solomon International Assistance Force and also members of JTFC who were engaged in HADR operations in the western division on Easter Sunday.
A Church Service was held on completion of the parade at the UN Peacekeeping School to commemorate the efforts of men and women for maintaining the outstanding standards and performance over the duration of ORC and Command Parade which included the members deploying to Solomon Islands.
