Marist Brothers High School has officially become the 65th secondary school in Fiji to join the Crime Stoppers Scholastic Program, marking a continued push to instill discipline and civic responsibility among students.

At the official launch ceremony today, Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu badged members of the school’s newly appointed Scholastic Board students who will now lead the program within the school.

Commissioner Tudravu commended the school’s commitment, noting that by joining the program, “Marist Brothers is pledging to protect its name and legacy by working together for a safer and more respectful learning environment.”

Drawing on his own school experiences, he encouraged students to show the same pride and passion in their daily conduct as they would during the Deans Rugby competition.
“Just as you would staunchly defend your school colours, apply that same energy to how you carry your name, your community, and your nation. Be respectful. Be law-abiding. Be proud,” he told the students.

The Crime Stoppers Scholastic Program aims to promote discipline, social responsibility, and mutual respect among students ensuring that both learners and teachers can thrive in a safe, supportive environment.
