Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad this evening met with the Lautoka Chamber of Commerce along with its ratepayers to discuss and make submissions during the 2023-2024 national budget consultations.
Issues raised by the attendees included tax incentives for businesses, the upgrade of medical facilities, improved FRCS services, and the need for more attention to be drawn to those in need.
The Acting PM highlighted that issues brought about during such consultations will be very helpful when preparing the next budget and stressed that the Coalition Government is doing its best in supporting businesses in the country.
