Hundreds of people gathered to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Nausori Plaza this morning, officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister Prof Biman Prasad.
Also present were Minister of Home Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua, Minister of Health, Dr Ratu Antonio Lalabalavu and other cabinet ministers.
The event saw classical dances from students of the China Cultural Center as well as items from the Manava Dance group.
Also included as part of the event were the unveiling of the 2025 Chinese Zodiac stamps as well as the Grand Official Opening of the Nausori Plaza.
