King Charles III’s birthday was celebrated by the Prime Minister, Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka, the Acting Chief Justice and President of the Republic of Fiji, His Lordship Salesi Temo, and British High Commissioner to Fiji, Dr. Brian Jones.
Last night, the celebration took place at the British High Commissioner’s residence in Suva.
Attendees at the ceremony included cabinet ministers, members of the diplomatic corps, and business guests.
In his speech, Dr. Jones, the British High Commissioner to Fiji, thanked everyone for coming and said it was a joy to host the celebration of His Majesty King Charles III’s formal birthday.
Dr. Jones emphasized that the celebration was a chance to recognise the depth of the Commonwealth ties, shared history, and cultural affinities that underpin the UK-Fiji alliance.
