The Fiji Rugby Union has appointed Andrew Tui Osborne as Head Coach of the SportsWorld Fijian Under 20 side following a competitive selection process.
Currently based in the United States as Director of Rugby and Head Coach at College Station, Texas, Osborne brings extensive international experience in player development, high-performance systems, and data-driven coaching.
Expressing his gratitude, Osborne said he is honored to return and contribute to Fiji’s rugby pathway, with a focus on strengthening development from grassroots to elite level and preparing players for international competition.
FRU General Manager High Performance, Naca Cawanibuka, welcomed the appointment, describing Osborne as a strong fit who combines cultural understanding with global expertise. He added that the role is a long-term investment in developing future national players.
Osborne will lead the team into the upcoming World Rugby Junior World Cup in Georgia, where Fiji is drawn in Pool D alongside France, Australia, and Spain.
