In Fiji:
Fiji will have to two sailors competing in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Viliame Ratului is the latest to qualify for next year’s Olympics.
Ratului competed at this year’s Pacific Games in Honiara and a week later travelled to Sydney to take part in the Olympic qualification event.
Meanwhile Sophia Morgan is another sailor to book her spot in the Olympics.
Morgan who is also an Olympic Solidarity recipient, qualified under merit during the Sails Sydney, which was an Olympics qualifier event.
Morgan was also part of Fiji Sailing team to the Pacific Games in Solomons where she won silver medal.
The 2024 Paris Olympics will be held from June 26th to the 11th of August.
