A spokesperson for FIJI Water has responded to the demonstration of the company’s staff yesterday, saying that the decision to protest is unlawful, as the issues have been submitted to the Ministry of Employment.

In a statement, the spokesperson says, the fact that the Union has engaged in this work stoppage is regrettable.

It says that the company has negotiated in good faith and has been fully committed to reaching an amicable resolution.

It adds, the FIJI Water takes great pride in being one of the best employers in Fiji and operating one of the most advanced and safest plants in the world.
