The Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, has reshuffled several Directors to maximise the return on investment in training and education.
Senior Superintendent of Police Seru Neiko assumes the role of Director Training and Education, succeeding Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Aseri Nakibo.
Neiko, with over 31 years of service, brings extensive experience, having served primarily in the Criminal Investigations Department. He holds a Masters in Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism from Macquarie University and has attended prestigious international law enforcement academies.
SSP Fisi Nasario takes over as Director Narcotics, he has a Master’s degree in Policing with a focus on Narcotics.
SSP Amelia Rokotuivuna is appointed Director Prosecutions, having previously served as Deputy Director Prosecutions. Her diverse background includes roles in research, prosecutions and international secondment.
These appointments also mark progress for women officers, with six now holding senior leadership positions.
The Acting Commissioner stressed that these changes align with organisational needs and provide an opportunity for officers to apply their specialised training and education effectively.
