KPMG Fiji is hosting its third annual Women in Technology Insights Program aimed at providing women with greater exposure to the wide range of career pathways available within the technology sector.

Participants in the annual KPMG Fiji WIT program can look forward to potential job opportunities with local businesses like KPMG who are looking for talent in the technology area.

Managing Partner at KPMG Fiji Sharvek Naidu said the Program reflects KPMG’s commitment to advancing women’s careers in technology by fostering a supportive environment.

“It’s one where learning, confidence, and meaningful connections can thrive.”

The 2026 program has significantly increased in size compared to WIT 2025 when nine women attended.

Sixteen women will attend the two-day event in Suva this year while seventeen will participate in Nadi.

This will be the first time the program has been held in both locations simultaneously.

The expansion ensures that more candidates can participate, equal access is provided across locations, and participants gain greater exposure and access to the full two-day experience.

Sharvek emphasised that KPMG Fiji was building on the success of the 2024 and 2025 WIT programs aimed at introducing more women to careers in technology.

“The 2026 program is designed to empower aspiring women professionals through practical learning experiences, mentorship, and exposure to real-world insights, helping them bridge the gap between ambition and achievement,” he said.

Past program attendee, Bulou Vitukawalu now a Graduate Cybersecurity Analyst with KPMG Fiji said before the program, she didn’t fully understand the variety of roles within tech.

After attending the workshop, her perception changed significantly.

“I now see tech as a diverse and exciting field with many opportunities to grow and make an impact. After attending the workshop, I applied for the Graduate Trainee Program. When I received the offer, it felt unreal. I never imagined I would be given the opportunity to work at KPMG. I felt incredibly grateful.”
