The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service emphasises the importance of timely filing and payment of Value Added Tax, Pay as You Earn and Contractual Provisional Tax.
These taxes are important for sustaining public services and infrastructure and failure to comply may result in garnishee orders issued to banks and third parties for tax recovery.
FRCS may consider payment arrangements for genuine cases of non-lodgement, but penalties will be enforced for non-compliance.
For more information members of the public can contact Debt Management Service at 324300, email managedebt@frcs.org.fj or visit an FRCS Office.
