The Ministry of Education has officially announced the school dates for the 2025 academic year, outlining key term duration and the annual school break.
According to the Ministry, Term 1 will commence on Monday, January 27, 2025, and run for 14 weeks, concluding on Friday, May 2, 2025.
After the Term 1 break, Term 2 is set to begin on Monday, May 19, 2025, and will also last for 14 weeks, ending on Friday, August 22, 2025.
However, Term 3 will be shorter, lasting 13 weeks, and will start on Monday, September 8, 2025, wrapping up on Friday, December 5, 2025.
The Ministry has also confirmed that the annual school break will span 7 weeks, beginning from Monday, December 8, 2025, and extending until Friday, January 23, 2026.
This updated schedule will allow students, parents, and educators ample time to prepare for the upcoming academic year.
The Ministry encourages all stakeholders to take note of these dates to ensure smooth planning for 2025.
